Recommendation: Totally forgettable, skip it
Flipped is a teenage love story that follows two neighbors as they grow up. While I didn't have any specific complaints with the movie, it was just completely forgettable. I found none of the main characters that interesting, none of the back stories either interesting or developed, and a complete lack of anything to make the movie memorable.
I'd skip this one if I were you, since you'll forget the movie in a day or two anyway.

★★★☆☆
Recommendation: See it on Netflix, but don't pay for it
There have been a few recent romantic comedies that take a unique, almost sci-fi premise to make a low budget romantic comedy. Wristcutters falls into this category and does it pretty well (another one is TiMER, which was also quirky and fun). Set in a purgatory reserved especially for suicides, it's a romantic comedy that takes a fun look at the afterlife.
Available on Netflix watch instantly, this one is worth the time if you're looking for something quirky.

Recommendation: Why not?
This is a cute little romantic comedy that's got some pretty funny parts. There's not much to say about this genre of movie, so I won't say too much. I will say that you'll probably like the ending. It's, shall we say, refreshing.

A Life Less Ordinary is a cute little romantic comedy with an interesting slant. McGregor plays a janitor who gets replaced by a cleaning robot. When he goes to confront the owner of his company, he kidnaps Diaz's character, the owner's spoiled daughter. Diaz takes pity on the bumbling McGregor and helps him to execute the kidnapping more professionally. Through some divine intervention of angels played by Delroy Lindo and Holly Hunter the two eventually fall in love and have to face the music together.

Recommendation: See it
Secretary is a quirky and amusing look at bondage and S&M in "normal" people's lives. Funny and surprisingly touching with good acting

This heartwarming story (in French with English subtitles) is one that you will want to see over and over again. Amelie is a dreamer who finally meets another dreamer but is afraid to actually find love. Funny, moving, and just a good movie, Amelie should not be missed.
